The 387-acre Club at Coral Mountain project located at the southwest corner of Avenue 58 and Madison Street in La Quinta has been approved by the La Quinta City Council more than a year after being rejected by the council. The plans for the project were revised to exclude the wave basin and hotel that were originally part of the proposed development but was a subject of contention for many residents.

The current plans include 750 homes, an 18-hole golf course, 10-acre recreation lake, and 60,000 square feet of commercial space. There will also be walking and biking trails throughout the community, in line with the developer’s vision to foster healthy lifestyles.
