Market Watch LLC has released its most recent housing report for December 2023.

According to the report:

• Historical data for detached homes ended at $659,000, up 3.8% for the month and 3% year-over-year
• Historical data for attached homes is up to $460,000, up 3.4% year-over-year
• Total sales attached and detached are 490, up 22 units from last year
• Inventory: 2,093 units, which is 167 units less than last month
• Time on the market by price range and days on the market to sell a home: 35 days, which is 1 day less than last month and 1 day less than last year
• List price in relation to the sales price: 15.1 % of sales were above the list price, compared to 15.8% a year ago
