Market Watch LLC has released its most recent housing report for September 2023.

According to the report:

• Historical data for detached homes ended at $660,404, unchanged for the month but down 1.4% year-over-year
• Historical data for attached homes is up to $435,000, down $4,000 from last month and down 6.5% year-over-year
• Total sales attached and detached are 632, down 49 units from last year
• Inventory: 1,601 units, which is 161 units more than last month
• Time on the market by price range and days on the market to sell a home: 38 days, which is the same as last month but 6 days more than last year
• List price in relation to the sales price: 17.1 % of sales were above the list price, compared to 28.8% a year ago
