On August 9th, the Desert Hot Springs City Council approved changes that will allow a developer to move forward with the next phase of homes at Skyborne. Specifically, councilmembers approved amendments to the project’s development agreement and lien contract. Skyborne is set to have a total of 2,140 at completion, with the next phase containing 468 homes.
The City of Desert Hot Springs was the fastest growing city in the Coachella Valley between 2010 and 2020, with a 25.3% increase in its population. The City has continued to see an uptick in development due to the increase in demand.
