Thermal Beach Club, a planned multi-generational private residential community by WhiteStar Development, is expected to open in December 2024. The 326 luxury-home development will include a 20-acre surf lake with leisure water recreational activities and a simulated ocean experience. Amenities will include private cabanas, rock caves, on-demand surf, a fitness center, spa, sports court, pro shop, clubhouse pool, dining facilities, and more. Members of this exclusive community will also have access to 9 PGA West courses and amenities as well as quarterly car/track experiences at the BMW Performance Center, equestrian facilities, and use of the Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport.

The 118-acre project is located on Avenue 66 west of Polk Street in the unincorporated area of Thermal, in the East Coachella Valley. The project will bring much-needed infrastructure to the area, and the developer has promised to contribute to affordable housing needs in the area as well. According to the developer, the project is on target to meet construction timelines.
